Azadi ka Amritmahotsav was celebrated at Sindhi High School K K Road Bangalore. The chief guest Sri Lalchand Nagpal hoisted the Indian National Flag and in his address to the students reminisced the struggles they had to encounter to start an educational institution in the heart of the city. He expressed his gratitude at the way the institution has made a mark in the educational landscape of the city. Today there are 9 educational institutions under the aegis of the Seva Samiti. The chief guest emphasised on the fact that democracy gives us the power to build our nation and live in our country as free citizens and we need to cherish our freedom. The flag hoisting program was followed by singing of the National Anthem, speeches by students and cultural program.
